StudyPortals wins FD Gazellen Award 3rd year in a row
StudyPortals is humbled to have received the FD Gazellen Award for being one of the fastest growing companies in the Netherlands. This is the third year that StudyPortals has received Financiele Dagblad’s prestigious award, making StudyPortals one of the few organisations able to keep up their fast growth several years in a row.
During the ceremony at the iconic Evoluon in Eindhoven, Joran van Aart, COO of StudyPortals, was present to receive the award:
“We are proud of our tremendous growth over the years. It shows that we are addressing an important need: to create transparency in international education opportunities worldwide, so students can find and choose the university that fits them best.
Transparency doesn’t just help students make better choices, but also helps universities attract ambitious students from around the world. We will continue to improve and boost international education, to improve students’ careers and build an internationally connected world.”
StudyPortals started out of a student organization in 2007. Today the company has grown to over 140 employees, from 35 different nationalities – many of whom work in the Eindhoven headquarters, but who are also located in Boston, Melbourne, and Bucharest. The platforms attract over 19 million visits a year from searching students worldwide, and StudyPortals is working with over 2,450 universities and institutions to promote international education.
The FD Gazellen Awards are offered to companies with a growth of at least 20% over the past three years. StudyPortals has now won this award for the 3rd year in a row. In 2015, StudyPortals won 1st place in the category ‘international’, receiving recognition for their global focus.
