Studyportals announces new CTO to join the company

Eindhoven, 5th of July 2019 – Studyportals, the global study choice platform, is excited to announce that Emiel Romein joins the company as the new Chief Technology Officer, an important addition to the team, to strengthen the company’s rapid global growth.

Emiel Romein is the former Sr. Software Development Manager at Coolblue, with more than 20+ years’ experience in software development and 10+ years’ experience in leadership positions. His mission within Studyportals will be to lead the engineering team to the next level and accelerate our path to building ‘the Amazon of learning’.

According to Emiel:

Thijs Putman, former CTO and Studyportals founder, is taking up the role of Chief Architect.
