“Complaining without offering a solution, is bitching. So stop bitching.”

Job summary/responsibilities

As a front-end engineer I work on developing and implementing the visual and interactive aspects of the UniversityAdmin tool. This tool is used by clients and colleagues to manage the content that is shown on the portals.

General introduction/background

Born and raised in Kerkrade, I moved to Eindhoven to study ICT & Media Design at Fontys University of Applied Sciences. After studying I worked at an IT consultancy company as an graphic designer. Though I like design, I missed working in front-end development. This brought me at StudyPortals and here I can develop myself as a front-end engineer.

Key challenge

To improve myself as a developer and help students in making life changing decision, by creating valuable and easy to use tools.

Personal Goal

Learn new things and develop myself every day. Not only as an front-end engineer but also as a person.

Favourite activities

A couple of times per week I play basketball at the Student Sport Centre. In the weekends I like to watch racing. I watch various types of motorsports. Almost everything except Formula 1. Because practicing motorsports is very expensive, I do sim racing on the PC. Here I race other people around the world and you have the same excitement, but without the G-forces. In sim racing I also organize my own international endurance championship.
