I am multidisciplinary and visually driven person. In my opinion design should be practical, usable, and visually pleasing. I like to solve design problems and create clever solutions that are innovative, creative and fresh.
I am a designer who likes to work with complexity that can be turned into simple solutions with big opportunities, in other words I enjoy seeing a bigger picture while paying attention to a detail.
During my studies, I focused on concept development, interaction design and service design.
I did my bachelor degree at Design Academy Eindhoven and my master degree at Industrial Design (Eindhoven University of Technology). At Design Academy I learnt about form & shape as well as visual communication. While at Industrial Design I focused on user research, interaction design and business innovation.
I believe in the importance of “life long learning”. The personal learning that goes beyond checkboxes of preset curriculum and does not finish by receiving a diploma.
I think it is important to explore and study in different countries. Therefore, I decided to study not only in my own country (Czech Republic), but also in the Netherlands and shortly in England.
Within my role as UX designer I am working on improving the student’s journey from the search until enrolment to their best-fitted university. Exploring student’s motivation and needs, and turn the findings into a pleasant interactive online platform.
The motto that I like to follow is “work hard play hard!” And when I do not do just that, I enjoy rock climbing, traveling, cooking, reading, drawing, and basically any creative and challenging activity that leads to self-education in one way or the other.
