Jennifer Bruce

Jen Bruce is the Regional Director for the UK and Ireland at StudyPortals. Joining StudyPortals in May 2013  she brought with her six years of experience in the UK Higher Education Marketing sector including digital marketing, campaign planning and student recruitment expertise. She leads a strong UKI university value team which focuses on data-driven online strategies and sustainable international enrolment products to universities and course providers. Jen is a frequent attendee at international conferences and events, joining panels to contribute research and opinions and also delivers key research and data findings at higher education workshops.

Educational background

Jen studied and received her BA Tourism and Recreation Management at Sheffield Hallam University and as part of this 4 year degree spent a year completing SWE in the USA split between New Paltz New York and San Antonio Texas. Prior to joining the Higher Education Sector, she worked for British Airways and Thomas Cook, where her love of education and travel has taken her all over the world with her favorite places being Melbourne, Hong Kong and Eindhoven (Of Course).

Key motivation

Jen believes that StudyPortals is growing rapidly in employee size, student users and number of clients, but it is still maintaining its original ethos and heart.
