I joined Studyportals in 2014 as an engineer and since then it has been quite a journey. During this time, I got to work with so many people, who inspired me and motivated me to do better, to grow professionally and personally. The diversity in culture and backgrounds in our company plays an important role to make better products. I moved to The Netherlands for my studies, which was an incredible experience. It is an amazing feeling to help many students pursue their dreams, as I did mine.
I’m glad I joined Studyportals and working here is a fulfilling experience. I get to work with awesome people, and we mix a lot of technology to support our mission and helping more and more students. Hackdays are a great way to look-ahead into how we can further improve, so once every two weeks we learn and experiment. The company culture empowers our goals, and it helped me grow both personally and professionally. And there’s a bonus: a lot of fun and great memories!
I love the enthusiasm and dedication that there is throughout the company to constantly improve the tools and info that we have across our websites. There’s always more we can do to help students choose the right study. This culture is not only noticeable on regular sprint-days, but also on the bi-weekly hackdays. On a hackday you can work on any cool idea you might have that could have a positive impact on Studyportals’ mission.
