Boston’s Education Holiday Party

Facebooktwittergoogle_pluslinkedin

With the first snowfall of the year, it is officially the beginning of the holidays!

On Thursday, December 14th from 5 – 9 PM (EST), Studyportals will be co-hosting the “Boston’s Education Holiday Party” with LearnLaunch, Young Education Professionals & Good Harbor Partners.

Taking place at the LearnLaunch Campus (281 Summer Street, 2nd Floor), what better way to start the holiday celebrations than coming along for some festivities (and mulled wine!)

The party is free, but we will be raising money for Toys for Tots, so a donation would be greatly appreciated, or if you prefer to bring an unwrapped toy for the children that would be amazing!

Please make sure you sign up on Eventbrite.

We cannot wait to celebrate the beginning of the holidays with you so make sure you stop by and say hi!

More about the organizers

Studyportals:

Studyportals began as a spin-off from a couple of large international study associations. It was born out of frustration a total lack of information and overview of the fast-growing number of international Masters in Europe. In 2007 MastersPortal was born and proved to be a roaring success. Soon after, Bachelors, PhD, Short Courses and Distance Learning Portals followed suit. Today, Studyportals covers over 150,000 courses at 3,050 educational institutes across 110 countries. In 2017, Studyportals helped over 28 million students around the world to explore study programs and make an informed choice.

Boston Edtech Meetup:

The Boston EdTech Meetup Group supports educators, technologists, researchers, librarians, entrepreneurs, investors, reformers and learners looking to explore, discuss and improve technology in academia, K-12 education, higher education, and the private sector.

We meet monthly to hear from those who are transforming teaching and learning through panel discussions, community mixers, member spotlights, keynote speakers, workshops, and hands-on learning experiences to explore the intersection of education and technology.

LearnLaunch:

LearnLaunch is dedicated to connecting, supporting, and investing in the education technology ecosystem to drive innovation and transform learning. We offer a vibrant community, educational events, a collaborative co-working space, and a selective accelerator program to promote the growth of the edtech sector. LearnLaunch is based in Boston, a world education hub.

Young Education Professionals:

YEP-Boston is the Greater Boston area chapter of Young Education Professionals. Founded in 2012, we are a volunteer-run membership organization interested in connecting young education-affiliated professionals across all sectors throughout the Boston area.
