Meet us at AIEC 2017 in Hobart, Tasmania!

This time, the 31^st annual Australian International Education Conference (AIEC) will be hosted in beautiful Hobart, Tasmania. From the 10^th till the 13^th of October, Hobart will be the centre of a variety of workshops and knowledge sharing opportunities; and we are happy to announce that the Studyportals team will be there too!

With the theme of this year being ‘Embracing Diversity’, the conference is exploring and emphasizing how to continue the positive and important contribution of diversity that international education encourages in todays’ global and political environment. Get inspired by new insights on the richness of diversity and the role of internationalization through the many inspiring sessions and challenging workshops.

Magnus Olsson, our Studyportals Representative, will be there to go deeper into the subject by hosting a session on his own. On Friday 13^th of October, join Magnus at 10:40 in a discussion on the increasing competition from Asian Universities and its effects on the Australian higher education market.  As the higher education in Asia is undergoing a profound transformation where many countries have set up ambitious goals to attract more international students, there has been a rise in English-taught programmes. This session will help you to better understand the changing Asian higher education landscape and enables you to make informed decisions on how to respond to these trends.
