Every year we take a closer look at how satisfied students are with their international study experience and award the universities with the happiest students. The awards are based on the reviews international students leave on our student experience exchange platform – STeXX.eu – during that academic year (September 2015 – August 2016). This is our fourth consecutive year analyzing reviews by international students and awarding the top universities in the world. To qualify, universities need to have at least 20 reviews from international students.

Based on their scores, universities can receive one of the following three awards:

• Award for Outstanding international student satisfaction: at least 9.5 out of 10;
• Award for Excellent international student satisfaction: between 9 and 9.4 out of 10;
• Award for Very good international student satisfaction: better than an 8 out of 10.

Are you ready for the challenge?

If you want your university to be considered for the awards this year, make sure you encourage your international students to leave their review and share their study experience at your university. Their review is not just useful for the awards, but it can also help guide other students who are currently deciding whether to choose your university or not. We made it even easier for you and designed some basic templates you can adjust to your university’s communication channels. We will update and add a few more templates and visuals over the coming weeks so stay in touch.

All for a good cause

Plus it’s all for a good cause: for every study experience, we are also working in collaboration with Knowledge for Children, an NGO that supports primary education by building self-reliant schools in Cameroon and Uganda. As of today, the organisation supported 130 schools in the Cameroon and 60 schools, 22,500 pupils and 750 teachers in Uganda – with the ultimate goal is to further grow in Uganda and supporting further African countries in the near future.
